Description:
A wonderful example of an early rayon jacket: when rayon was introduced into Japan it was considered to be a more valuable material than silk, so was typically purchased only by the wealthy. This haori features faux-shibori pine and bamboo motifs. Very good condition. 50" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 40" height.
