Description:
A plain silk miyamairi kimono used for christening a baby boy at a Shinto ceremony, featuring samurai hemet, crane and castle motifs. The silk is a dry, slightly stiff. Silkscreening, embroidery couching, and gold foil outlining. Very good condition, with discreet foxing that can be seen in the detail images. 31" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 38" height.
