Description:
A plain silk padded miyamairi kimono worn during ceremonial coming-of-age annointment at a Shinto shrine. This example is from the same family and workshop as item 2841. The length is unusual (very long). The two main motifs are pine and crane, auspicious symbols. Sumi-e and painting. Very good condition with a variety of small imperfections. 33" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 44 " height.
