Description:
An unusual kimono made of hand-spun natural indigo-dyed shibori-technique cotton. This kimono was likely a countryside - not an urban - garment, as cotton was the preferred fabric in the rural villages. Very good condition, with a small stain on the upper left upper. 47" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 54" height.
