Description:
A boy's plain silk miyamairi haori created for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing. The imperial palace and child figures were created utilizing a combination of yuzen-dyeing, simple and couching embroidery, and painting. The artwork on this kimono is very intricate and plentiful (see detail images) . Very good condition, with minor imperfections. 33" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 41" height.
