Description:
A rinzu (damask) silk kimono featuring yuzen-painted doukyo (copper mirror) motifs. These motifs are painted with shishi (lion) and ryu (dragon) motifs. Embroidery highlights. The damask background is woven with similar copper mirror motifs. A single yuzen-dyed mon (family crest), reflecting a formal use for this luxury kimono. Very good condition, with minor imperfections. 50in from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 62in height.
