Description:
A silk kimono featuring stenciled white and red kaede (maple leaf) motifs, with tiny blue maple leaves covering the remainder of the backgrounds. The type of silk utilized in this kimono is called jiginu, a coarser silk created in the rural districts of Japan. The inner lining is of cotton. Very good condition, with minor imperfections. 50in from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 55in height.
