This silk miyamairi kimono is tailored for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, adorned with yuzen-painted motifs depicting Kintaro, a folklore boy superhero, catching a giant carp. It bears patina spots on the front and inner lining, along with a section of loose couching embroidery. Measuring 33 inches (84 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 39 inches (99 cm) in height.
