This silk miyamairi boys' kimono serves as the primary attire for a child's ceremonial anointment at a Shinto shrine. It features depictions of auspicious pine and falcon motifs, skillfully rendered through sumi-e painting, yuzen dyeing, and highlighted with embroidery. Despite minor imperfections, it remains in very good condition. Its measurements are 34 inches (86 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stands at a height of 40 inches (102 cm).
