This boy's silk miyamairi kimono, designed for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, showcases two standing cranes with outstretched wings as the main motifs. These beautiful cranes were crafted using painting, yuzen-dyeing, and adorned with embroidery and metallic couching highlights. The kimono remains in very good condition with only minor imperfections, measuring 33 inches (84 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 40 inches (102 cm) in height.
