This boy's rinzu silk miyamairi kimono, tailored for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, features two jumping carp as its main motifs. These motifs were crafted using yuzen-dyeing, painting techniques, and enhanced with metallic embroidery highlights. Despite a few small stains and other minor imperfections, it remains in very good condition, measuring 34 inches (86 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 33 inches (84 cm) in height.
