This boy's silk miyamairi kimono, designed for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, showcases a crane perched on a pine tree as its main motif. The design is crafted using painting, gold foil embroidery, and couching techniques. Despite minor imperfections, it remains in very good condition, measuring 33 inches (84 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 41 inches (104 cm) in height.
