This boy's silk miyamairi kimono, crafted for a ceremonial Shinto shrine blessing, showcases a jumping carp as its main motif. The carp motifs were intricately crafted using painting, yuzen-dyeing, foil outlining, and embroidery highlights. Despite minor imperfections, it remains in very good condition, measuring 32 inches (81 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 39 inches (99 cm) in height.
