This distinctive chirimen (crepe) underkimono features stenciled motifs of eboshi (traditional male headgear) and parts of samurai armor. Its construction is rather unusual; notably, the main back section comprises nine panels, with as many as five across the back width, which is unconventional compared to the typical two or four panels. Its measurements span 50 inches (127 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stand at 58 inches (147 cm) in height.
