This silk juban was created by transforming a 19th-century Meiji era garment, possibly during the early 20th-century Showa era. It features an older main body and most of the sleeves made from old rinzu silk, embellished with two large mon on the front. The cotton lining, upper back, and neck lapel belong to the Showa era. It remains in very good condition, measuring 49 inches (124 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and standing at 49 inches (124 cm) in height.
