This chirimen (crepe) silk kimono showcases painted snowed "ume" ("plum") branches and "kiku" (chrysanthemum) motifs, accented by several groups of supplementary weft thread inserts. It bears three embroidered mon (family crests), indicating a semi-formal attire. The inner upper lining, made of hand-spun and woven silk, adds to its craftsmanship. However, there are light stains on the upper left front and the inner lining. Its measurements span 50 inches (127 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stand at 61 inches (155 cm) in height.
