This slightly padded silk dounuki, a specialized under-kimono, presents a shibori (tie-dye) pattern across the main area, accompanied by checkerboard-patterned plain weave edges and bottom. It features an uncommon pronounced rinzu (damask) hakkake (lower inner lining). Its measurements span 50 inches (127 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stand at 61 inches (155 cm) in height.
