This rinzu silk kimono showcases 'chayatsuji' (water garden scenery) adorned with 'ume' (Japanese plum), 'kaede' (maple leaf), and 'shippou-tsunagi' (jointed four circles) patterns. The main technique employed is shibori, complemented by yuzen-painting and generous foil highlighting. The soft, high-quality rinzu (damask) silk base weaves motifs of waves, birds, and flower circle patterns. Its measurements are approximately 51 inches (130 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and 60 inches (152 cm) in height.
